A brie-style, bloomy rind cheese made in the Charlevoix region of Quebec. The aroma is gentle, and the flavours are buttery and mildly vegetal. The paste is soft and becomes smoother and velvety as it ripens. The name is a blend of the french words for bloomy and farm cheese.

The Fleurmier is a typical soft cheese with a floral crust of the Camembert type. The milk comes from the Gouffre valley in Baie-Saint-Paul. This cheese is made by the solubilized curd method, which maximizes the quality for this type of product. Its dough, rich and velvety, has a fruity and hazelnut flavor without aftertaste. Its texture improves with age and its taste develops without bitterness.
